Mary Ann
Being born into a Seventh-day Adventist family, I have been attending children’s Sabbath School classes as a student or teacher my entire life. There is no place I would rather be on Sabbath morning than in a children’s Sabbath School class. For many years, it was with the Primary class, including here at Cicero. But after becoming a grandmother, opportunity called me back to work with the Beginner’s class. This class serves children, from birth up to their fourth birthday, and their parents. Through programs, music, activities, and repetition, the children learn about nature, simple Bible stories, and that Jesus loves them. It is a joy to see the children, some of whom are just learning to talk, singing the songs and engaging in the program each week. In my spare time, I enjoy growing flowers and herbs, family outings and activities, and my two cats, Mac and Mozart.
